Chrissy Teigen’s mom Pepper touchingly dedicates new cookbook to stillborn grandson Jack
Her daughter Chrissy Teigen has two successful Cravings cookbooks under her belt.
And now the model’s mom Vilailuck, known affectionately as Pepper, is getting in on the act.
The Pepper Thai Cookbook: Family Recipes from Everyone’s Favorite Thai Mom will be published on April 13 and on Monday, Pepper revealed that she has dedicated the book to her stillborn grandson Jack.

‘We talk about him every day,’ Pepper, 59, explained in an interview with WSJ. ‘That’s how we grieve. We’re getting better each day. … We’re getting so much better, and Chrissy too.’
Jack died in September after Chrissy, 35, suffered a pregnancy loss at 20 weeks.
Pepper also spoke about the loss in October, sharing a video of herself saying goodbye to Jack at the hospital.

The grandma, who is divorced from Chrissy’s dad Ron, lives with her daughter and son-in-law in Beverly Hills.

Chrissy and John had revealed the loss of their third child in early October when they shared a series of heartbreaking photos from the hospital.
Doctors had diagnosed the TV personality with partial placental abruption – where the placenta separates from the wall of the uterus causing the baby’s airflow to be blocked or limited.
Her body was no longer able to sustain the pregnancy and despite ‘bags and bags of transfusion’, doctors couldn’t halt the bleeding.
