Simon Cowell takes son Eric and girlfriend Lauren Silverman’s child Adam for frozen yoghurt in LA

Simon Cowell was seen taking his seven-year-old son Eric and his girlfriend’s son Adam for frozen yoghurt in Beverly Hills on Sunday.

The music mogul, 61, was dressed down for the outing in a navy jumper and a pair of white shorts, which he teamed with black trainers and socks.

The X Factor boss shielded his eyes from the sun with a pair of Ray Bans and ensured he stayed protected by sporting a black mask over his face.

Simon’s lookalike son was similarly dressed in a blue top and shorts as he joined his dad on the outing, also sporting flip flops and a face mask.

After picking up some yogurt the father and son duo were seen getting into his flashy black Rolls Royce.

Adam, 15, could also be seen sat in the back of the vehicle. 

Last month, it was reported the Britain’s Got Talent judge walks over 40 miles a week to help him recover from breaking his back in an electric bike accident last year.

In August, the media personality was rushed to hospital to undergo six hours of surgery after injuring himself in the accident, forcing him to cancel all his planned TV work for the rest of the year.

But now the music executive is determined to do everything he can to ensure he makes a full recovery, including walking for several hours a day and holding business meetings at 9AM so that he no longer lives like a ‘vampire’.

Of his new fitness regime, a source told MailOnline: ‘Simon said how he hasn’t worn trainers as much as this in 20 years.

‘He feels fitter than ever before and is keeping to a normal routine rather than being on the phone until into the early hours of the morning.’

The insider also added that Simon would return to America’s Got Talent at the end of the month to film the new series.

However, the British edition of the competition show has been cancelled this year as the ongoing novel coronavirus pandemic continues to wreak havoc.
