Lil Nas X steps out in Air Jordans during Rodeo Drive shopping trip… amid legal battle with Nike over his controversial ‘Satan Shoes’

Lil Nas X whipped up instant controversy after designing a ‘satanic’ sneaker to mark the release of the Montero (Call Me By Your Name) music video, even prompting legal action from Nike for using their Air Max 97 shoes to craft the unauthorized $1,018 kicks.

But it didn’t look like Nas had any hard feelings for the footwear giant while spotted wearing a sharp grey pair of coveted Air Jordans 5 during a shopping trip on Beverly Hills’ Rodeo Drive on Saturday.

The Old Town Road hitmaker, 21, dialed down his wild style by going for monochrome duds as he hit up the Dior store for some retail therapy.

Still a fan: Lil Nas X wore a pair of Nike Air Jordans out shopping on Rodeo Drive on Saturday, still supporting the sneaker giant after they filed a restraining order against him for using their product to create a custom ‘satanic’ shoe for his (Montero) Call Me By Your Name video

The star – real name Montero Lamar Hill – donned a starry sweatshirt with black cargo pants and a Prada satchel crossing his body. He topped things off with a Broken Promises bucket hat and black face mask.

After picking up some things from spendy French fashion house Dior, Lil Nas left the shop with his sweatshirt around his neck, revealing a simple tank top and buff arms below.

The Panini singer’s shoes appeared to be an olive branch to Nike, who slapped him and collaborators MSCHF with a restraining order for their creation of 666 pairs of limited-edition satanic-themed Air Max 97 shoes, which was not sanctioned by the Beaverton, Oregon-based brand.

They followed up with a lawsuit for copyright infringement.

The lawsuit filed in federal court in the Eastern District of New York claims the shoes were ‘done without Nike’s approval or authorization, and Nike is in no way connected with this project.’

‘We do not have a relationship with Little Nas X or MSCHF,’ the company said in a statement. ‘Nike did not design or release these shoes and we do not endorse them.’

The shoes – which cost $1,018 per pair and are decorated with a pentagram pendant and a reference to Luke 10:18, a Bible verse about Satan’s fall from heaven – caused significant outrage online, which Nike noted in the suit.

Nike asked a federal judge to order the destruction of the shoes and award the sports retailer any profits earned by MSCHF from the sales. The sportswear company also seeks punitive damages.

Lil Nas X anticipated controversy ahead of the release, telling Complex: ‘The shoe looks amazing. Some people are going to be mad or whatever. I’ll be that and I’m going to make the best of it.’

While he didn’t seem worried about Nike drama, the singer was even less concerned with the public outrage, taking to YouTube to troll haters with a faux-apology online last week.

The Georgian titled the clip Lil Nas X Apologizes For Satan Shoe and began: ‘I just want to come forward and say…’ before the clip switched to a lap dance scene from his video.

The short film has also be slammed for its satanic themes, depicting Lil Nas X being seduced out of what appears to be the Garden of Eden and falling into the depths of hell to give the devil himself a lap dance.
