Shades of grey – they’re a sure sign of success! The best cooks have a grey kitchen while the worst paint theirs blue, poll reveals

  • Those who say they are accomplished cooks are most likely to have grey kitchen
  • Poll finds that top earners wear white and grouchy people wear checked shirts
  • Just one per cent of those with a blue kitchen see themselves as confident cooks

If your hot date’s kitchen is painted grey, you’re probably on for a gourmet feast – but if it’s painted blue, you might want to order a takeaway.

A poll reveals that those who describe themselves as accomplished cooks are most likely to have a grey kitchen (14 per cent), while only one per cent of those with a blue kitchen see themselves as confident with the pots and pans.

Smartphone firm OPPO, which questioned 4,000 Britons on their choice of colours, also found that top earners mainly wear white, grouchy people can often be found in checked shirts, and owners of black cars see themselves as high achievers.
