Britney Spears DENIES make-up artist’s claims she said she had no control over THAT Instagram post

Britney Spears has denied claims by her former make-up artist that she had told him personally she had no control over the Instagram post made days ago about the controversial Framing Britney Spears documentary.

Many had questioned the validity of the 39-year-old pop star’s post when Billy Brasfield – who worked with Spears  from 2012 to 2013 –  claimed that he personally spoke to the Toxic hitmaker and told him she had no control over the caption.

Spears has since refuted the claims as she told TMZ on Friday: ‘No, I’m not talking to him at all. I write my posts. I’m not sure who he is talking to, but I am not talking to Billy B.’

The singer – who is currently in the middle of a legal battle with her father Jamie Spears over her conservatorship – made waves as she finally addressed the controversial Hulu documentary on Instagram Tuesday writing she was ’embarrassed by the light they put me in’ and adding ‘I cried for two weeks.’

On Wednesday, the 57-year-old Brasfield told Page Six that he has personally spoke to Spears and she told him that she did not write the caption in question.

‘I immediately knew it was not her,’ he claimed. ‘I texted her about it and she texted me back last night.

‘What was upsetting [about the post] — it was basically a narrative denouncing her fans and the Free Britney movement and people now taking a very conscious look at the facts and what is going on.’

Brasfield concluded his statement to Page Six saying: ‘Although it might be complicated for her, of course she is invested. It’s her life.

‘She does not like being a victim, she never wanted to be a victim and doesn’t see herself as a victim. She sees herself as a survivor and has navigated this with patience and strategy.’

He also took to his Instagram – which has since been set to private – to comment on Spears’ social media presence as he alleged ‘The content is her, but … the words are NOT how she feels.’

Brasfield wrote: ‘Of course watching certain things that are now so far in HER past … circumstances that she has already lived through, and has moved beyond, that are now being brought up over and over, can be #emotional. She ‘deals’ with it, and frankly very well … she is not ‘fragile’.’

This comes as fans of Spears have attempted to dissect and place blame on her social media manager for a recent Instagram post where she addressed the documentary about her controversial conservatorship.

But sources told TMZ that Spears’ social media manager, Cassie Petrey, is ‘not responsible’ for the lengthy text accompanying a new dance video where Britney admitted she was ’embarrassed’ by the hour-long film.

The pop star finally broke her silence on the Framing Britney Spears doc earlier this week, only for fans to accuse the Toxic singer’s representation of writing the long and winded caption.

Selling Sunset’s Chrishell Stause even reached out to the If U Seek Amy singer, but her words mysteriously disappeared from the comment section.

‘Instead of dancing, can we get a video of you typing your own captions next time?,’ she wrote. ‘I want to believe you it’s you speaking for yourself, but I am skeptical. We love you!’

‘My life has always been very speculated …watched … and judged really my whole life,’ Britney began in another video uploaded to her millions of followers on Tuesday evening.

‘For my sanity I need to dance to Steven Tyler every night of my life to feel wild and human and alive !!! I have been exposed my whole life performing in front of people !!! It takes a lot of strength to TRUST the universe with your real vulnerability cause I’ve always been so judged… insulted… and embarrassed by the media… and I still am till this day !!!!

As the world keeps on turning and life goes on we still remain so fragile and sensitive as people !!! I didn’t watch the documentary but from what I did see of it I was embarrassed by the light they put me in … I cried for two weeks and well …. I still cry sometimes !!!! I do what I can in my own spirituality with myself to try and keep my own joy … love … and happiness !!!! Every day dancing brings me joy !!! I’m not here to be perfect … perfect is boring … I’m here to pass on kindness!!!!
