She’s stuck by her ‘husband’ Bryce Ruthven on Married At First Sight, despite his many dramas.

But the former radio presenter was nowhere to be seen when Melissa Rawson stepped out in Sydney during a break from filming the Channel Nine dating experiment.

Daily Mail Australia spotted the workplace trainer caught in an animated conversation as she ventured around the Emerald City’s CBD.

Melissa appeared amused as she began texting at an intersection, and the tapping continued as the crossed the road.

The blonde reality eventually got tired of letting her fingers do the talking, and began gesturing wildly after making a call.

The blonde reality star blended into the cityscape in a pair of classic high-waisted blue jeans, a black T-shirt and a cropped camouflage jacket.

She completed her look in a pair of stylish ballet flats perfect for pounding the pavement, and sunglasses to shield her eyes from the glare of MAFS fans.

On Wednesday’s episode of MAFS, Melissa took her co-stars by surprise after she stood up for Bryce after he dramatically left the room.

‘I’m the most understanding person here, I think I can say that, and I think most of you will agree with me,’ she began.

Melissa continued: ‘I know what you see doesn’t make sense, because I see him behind the scenes.’

She then turned her attention to Tuesday night’s drama after Bryce kissed Rebecca Zemek on the cheek.

‘The thing with Bec and the thing with [her husband] Jake [Edwards], the first thing I said when we walked off alone was, “Why the hell did you do that?”, she explained.

Melissa went on to further defend Bryce explaining, ‘It was just in a spur-of-the-moment thing’ and that Bryce was ‘just being a smart-arse’.

‘He just didn’t think in that moment, and it’s completely gone the wrong way,’ she said.

Married At First Sight continues Monday at 7.30pm on Channel Nine
