‘This will be nice to be fair, I just wish they had some originality,’ commented a third.

It comes as Cadbury changed it’s packaging to add quotes from surprising stories told by older people on its packaging in a campaign with Age UK.

The true stories, first shared in October 2020 through the brand’s The Originals advert, are from older people from all walks of life with surprising and inspiring experiences to share.

The stories help to remind the British public that a conversation with an older relative or neighbour could be just as rewarding and entertaining for you, as it could be for them.

Pippa Rodgers Brand Manager at Mondelez, told FEMAIL: “We’re proud to continue our long-term partnership with Age UK. To be featuring the Donate your words campaign across 10 million Cadbury Dairy Milk bars is both exciting and fitting, as we look for more impactful ways to support this important mission.
