Todd Carney and Susie Bradley share adorable photo of newborn son Lion sleeping

They celebrated the arrival of their first child – a baby boy called Lion Daryl Carney –  over the weekend.

And on Wednesday, Susie Bradley and her fiancé, former NRL star Todd Carney, shared a new photo of their little bundle of joy to social media.

Uploading a photo to her Instagram, the Married At First Sight star wrote: ‘Mummy and daddy love you so much baby Lion,’ alongside a yellow heart and lion emoji

In the sweet photo, their adorable little boy is seen sleeping on his tattooed father’s chest.

Ever since announcing Lion’s arrival, the couple have been sharing sweet photos of the newborn. 

Susie uploaded a slew of images of little Lion sleeping on both her and Todd’s chest on Monday. 

She also posted a very cute video of her daughter Baby, six, cuddling and kissing her new little brother’s head.  

Todd and Susie announced the birth on Sunday. 

Todd, 34, uploaded a series of black and white photos taken inside birthing suite, showing the couple posing with their son. 

‘Lion Daryl Carney,’ he wrote in the caption, revealing his son’s very unique name. 

‘Born an Aries, March 27 2021 at 10.50am, 7 pounds 9.4 ounces, 50cm long on a perfect autumn day,’ the footballer continued.

Describing why the couple had chosen their son’s name, Todd continued:  ‘A lion’s most common traits are majesty, strength, courage, justice and might.’ 

‘A lion stands for both gentleness and power all rolled into one. A lion in your life enables you to bring positive changes in the lives of yourself, your family and your friends.’
