MAFS star Susie Bradley reveals her beauty clinic has to close due to Brisbane lockdown

She had a joyful arrival over the weekend when she welcomed a baby boy with fiancé Todd Carney.

But Susie Bradley shared less welcome news on Monday, when the Married at First Sight star told her fans that her beauty clinic had been forced to close its doors.

The 27-year-old reality TV star said her business was ‘closed until April 6 due to COVID shut down’.

Susie added a weeping emoji to the post. 

The blonde TV star launched ‘Injectables by Susie Pearl’ in May 2019, and celebrated one year of business last year on social media.

‘Injectables by Susie Pearl has only gone from strength to strength this past 12 months, and I plan to do everything I can to continue that moving forward!’ she wrote at the time. 

Susie splits her time across six clinic locations, and just opened a Gold Coast location last May. 

Meanwhile Susie and former NRL star Carney celebrated the arrival of their first child – a baby boy called Lion Daryl Carney –  over the weekend. 

Ever since announcing Lion’s arrival, the couple have been sharing sweet photos of the newborn.

Susie uploaded a slew of images of little Lion sleeping on both her and Todd’s chest on Monday. 

She also posted a very cute video of her daughter Baby, six, cuddling and kissing her new little brother’s head. 

Todd and Susie announced their happy news on Sunday. 

Todd, 34, uploaded a series of black and white photos taken inside birthing suite, showing the couple posing with their son. 

‘Lion Daryl Carney,’ he wrote in the caption, revealing his son’s very unique name.  

‘Born an Aries, March 27 2021 at 10.50am, 7 pounds 9.4 ounces, 50cm long on a perfect autumn day,’ the footballer continued. 

Describing why the couple had chosen their son’s name, Todd continued:  ‘A lion’s most common traits are majesty, strength, courage, justice and might.’ 

‘A lion stands for both gentleness and power all rolled into one. A lion in your life enables you to bring positive changes in the lives of yourself, your family and your friends.’

The caption ended: ‘We love you our little Lion. You will be one of the greats.’ 

Susie also uploaded the same image and caption to the official Instagram page of her cosmetic injectables business, The Beauty Clinic With Susie Pearl.   

The pair confirmed their pregnancy in an Instagram post on Christmas Day, announcing ‘Baby boy Carney’ was due in March.  

Susie excitedly wrote in an Instagram post at the time: ‘Our hearts are full, Christmas will be sweet.’

She added: ‘Our family is growing by one heart and two feet. Baby boy Carney due March 2021.’ 

Since the announcement, Susie has been showcasing her growing bump in a series of Instagram posts.  

During their gender reveal party in December, Todd got down on one knee and proposed.  

In a clip that he shared to Instagram, he was initially given a football to kick which revealed a puff of blue chalk to show the couple are having a boy. 

Todd then surprised the cosmetic nurse as he pulled an engagement ring from his shorts and bent down on one knee in front of her.  

‘I got something else exciting too,’ Todd said. ‘Since it’s going to be a little boy it’s only fitting we all have the same name,’ he added. ‘Will you marry me?’  

Todd wrote on Instagram after the proposal: ‘We all have dreams and in 2020 all mine have come true. 2021 my greatest gift is going to happen with a little Todd on the way and I’ll marry my best friend’. 

Earlier this month, the reality star and her footballer beau threw a stylish baby shower for their nearest and dearest in Queensland. 

Susie and Todd have been dating on and off since 2019, with Todd already happily stepping into the role of stepfather to Susie’s six-year-old daughter, Baby. 

The blonde rose to fame on the fifth season of Married At First Sight, which was filmed in late 2018.

She was partnered with barista Billy Vincent, but they split before their final vows.
