Hugh Jackman shows off his skills in the water before ‘wiping out’ during electric surfboard session
Hugh Jackman enjoyed a surfing session on Tuesday, but it didn’t all go to plan.
The actor, 52, shared a number of videos and photos from the excursion, admitting that he fell off the board after taking the impressive footage.
The Greatest Showman star wrote in his caption: ‘Video edited to right before I wiped out.’

Hugh appeared to be enjoying an electronic surfboard session – using a board that was powered by a battery-operated engine.
In the video, Hugh glided effortlessly across the water, despite there being no waves in sight.
It comes after the star expressed his love for his beloved pets, dogs Dali and Allegra, on National Puppy Day.

In an Instagram post, Hugh shared a portrait photo of himself holding dog Allegra in a throwback photo.
‘In honor of #nationalpuppyday, I feel it only right to revisit the first day #Allegra joined our family,’ he wrote.
Allegra is a poodle and terrier mix. While Dali, named after artist Salvador Dali, is a French bulldog.

Hugh is based in New York City with his wife, actress and adoption activist Deborra-Lee Furness.
The couple met on the set of the Australian drama Correlli in 1995 and married in 1996.
After moving to the US in the early 2000s they adopted two children – son Oscar, now 20, and daughter Ava, now 15.
