Game of Thrones play headed to Broadway, West End, and Australia… with fan-favorites Ned Stark and Jaime Lannister dramatizing the story of Westeros

Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin is reportedly developing a play version destined for Broadway, the West End, and Australia in 2023.

The stage spectacular ‘will bring fan-favorites like Ned Stark and Jaime Lannister back to life’ in a story set 16 years before the HBO hit series – according to THR.

The untitled production will center around Westeros’ 10-day, The Great Tourney at Harrenhal, under the direction of The Courier helmer Dominic Cooke.

Playwright Duncan MacMillan (1984) will pen the onstage piece produced by The Illusionists team Simon Painter and Tim Lawson.
