Schitt’s Creek alum Annie Murphy has hot dog date with mystery man in NYC after rainy stroll

Emmy winner Annie Murphy coordinated in matching green outerwear with a mystery man for a rainy stroll through Manhattan on Sunday.

The Canadian 34-year-old let out a laugh as her companion chivalrously held an umbrella from the Lower Eastside hotel, The Ludlow, over her head.

Annie and her gentleman caller then stopped by famed hot dog eatery Gray’s Papaya in the Upper Westside for a bite.  

The coy pair both made sure to protect themselves and others from the coronavirus by wearing black face masks.

As of Monday, there have reportedly been 1.85M confirmed COVID-19 cases in New York state (834K in NYC) leading to 49,537 deaths.

For the last eight years, Murphy has been married to fellow Canadian and Anyway Gang frontman, Menno Versteeg, who last posted about her on September 20. 

The Schitt’s Creek alum was on break from filming her mystery role in the second season of Netflix’s Russian Doll alongside creator-star Natasha Lyonne.

Last Thursday, Annie donned an obvious brown wig with Jackie O shades to shoot a scene while behind the wheel of a bright red Alfa Romeo convertible in SoHo.

But first, audiences can catch Murphy as Allison in the six-episode sitcom Kevin Can F*** Himself, which premieres this summer on AMC.  

The Golden Globe nominee’s street sighting came four days after The Rosebud Motel aka The Hockley Motel in Ontario was put on the market for $1.59M – according to The Dirt.

The 4,300-square-foot property – built in the sixties – features six units, a manager’s suite, guest cottage, mobile home, and horst barn.

The Hockley Motel only served as the exterior for the Rose family’s home over six seasons of the hit Pop series, in which Annie famously portrayed Alexis.
