Channel Seven officially announce ‘digital icon’ Flex Mami will appear on new season of Big Brother Australia

Big Brother Australia is returning to screens soon for its thirteenth season. 

And on Saturday, Channel Seven announced that digital icon Lillian Ahenkan aka Flex Mami will be appearing on the upcoming series.

The 27-year-old author, podcaster and mental health advocate is set to cause a stir when she lets loose inside the new compound.

Sharing a video of the official announcement with her 136,000 Instagram followers, she wrote: ‘Am I prepared to be perceived by Australia on this scale? Probably not.’

‘Will I watch it? Who knows. Let me know how I fare,’ she continued.

In the new clip, the social media star explains: ‘Some people know me as Flex Mami, my whole life is one big social game.’

When the emerging star isn’t hosting, touring or hitting the DJ decks, she enjoys carbs, good banter and self-help coaching, according to her website.

She wrote that she is ‘on a quest to broaden her palate, intersect her feminism and find more reasons to talk about how she’s a self-identifying spooky binch’.

Lillian is likely to bring plenty of style and personality to the recently revamped Big Brother house.

On Thursday, Big Brother also revealed Brenton Balicki, a 31-year-old account manager from Sydney would be joining the series.

This ‘very single’ guy describes himself as a passionate person, and he’s playing Big Brother’s game to win. 

‘I don’t go into anything to lose,’ he says in a new teaser trailer.

Flex Mami, Brenton and Melissa join real estate agent Daniel Hayes and antique jewellery dealer Sarah Jane Adams. More contestants will be announced shortly. 

Big Brother will premiere on Channel Seven in the coming weeks.
