Jon Hamm is a silver fox with stubble as he takes a phone call while walking his rescue dog Splash

Jon Hamm was every inch the silver fox as he modeled a bit of grey stubble while out in Los Angeles this Friday.

The 50-year-old Mad Men heartthrob was walking his beloved dog Splash whom he adopted this past September.

He flashed the flesh in a tiny pair of navy short shorts but warded off the early springtime chill by zipping himself into a hoodie.

Jon kept a fashionable bandanna tied around his neck so that he could pull it up as a face covering when needed on account of the coronavirus pandemic.

He kept the California rays out of his eyes with a blue and white baseball cap as well as a chic pair of burnt-orange aviators.

The sizzling sensation, whose films include Bad Times At The El Royale and Bridesmaids, rounded off the look with blue sneakers.

Splash entered Jon’s life in September of last year by way of the Los Angeles nonprofit animal rescue I Stand With My Pack.

‘He was returned twice at the shelter because of his puppy energy. We rescued him and found him the best home,’ the organization revealed on Instagram.

‘He lives a fairy tale life now. Happy adoption Splash. We are over the moon for you,’ read their statement which accompanied a sweet picture of Jon with the dog.

Jon has more than just canine company in his personal life as he is currently dating one Anna Osceola who is 17 years his junior.

The flame-haired actress appeared on the Mad Men finale back in 2015 and was first linked to Jon over the summer of last year.

Jon’s upcoming projects include a reboot of Fletch – a character that originated in Gregory Mcdonald’s novels and has already been memorably captured on film.

Chevy Chase famously played the character in a 1985 comedy movie that has become a cult classic over the intervening decades.

‘We’re hoping to start shooting in the springtime, in New York City – you know, fingers crossed,’ Jon dished to Collider late last year.
