Strictly’s Giovanni Pernice ‘signs up to celebrity dating app Raya’ after Ashley Roberts split

He split from Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts in January last year after over a year of dating.

And Giovanni Pernice is reportedly on the hunt for love after as he’s signed up to celebrity dating app Raya.

The Strictly Come Dancing hunk, 30, is said to be ‘keeping his options open’ after joining the exclusive platform used by the likes of Cara Delevingne, Adele and Ben Affleck.

A source told The Sun: ‘Giovanni is a good looking chap and is keeping all his options open at the moment.

‘He’s keen to find love again and Raya appears to be the place to do it.’ 

The publication states that Giovanni’s profile picture sees him sporting wet look hair while rocking a denim jacket.

MailOnline have contacted representatives of Giovanni for comment.

His quest for romance comes after his break-up with former girlfriend Ashley, 39, who he met during the 2018 series of Strictly.

Tweeting of their split at the time, Giovanni said: ‘@ImAshleyRoberts and I have made the decision to separate as a couple. We remain friends and wish each other well for the future.’

The Italian pro dancer has had other high profile romances in the form of ex-TOWIE star Jess Wright, 35, whom he dated for six months before they split in 2018. 

While he also enjoyed a relationship with former Coronation Street actress Georgia May Foote, 30, after the pair were partnered together on Strictly back in 2015. 

Meanwhile, Giovanni has recently been embroiled in further romance rumours of late after it’s been hinted that he’d grown close to Strictly partner Ranvir Singh, 43, during last year’s series. 

And last month, he insisted that ‘there’s absolutely no way’ he’d date Ranvir, despite the pair raising the roof with their steamy routines during the series.

In a new interview, the Italian dancer confirmed he’s currently single as he insisted the pair are just ‘very, very good friends’. 

Shutting down speculation that they’re dating once and for all, the choreographer said: ‘No, no, no no no. I’m single, absolutely there’s no way [he would date Ranvir]. We are very very good friends. 

‘Every time you get close in a rhumba or Argentine tango with your partner they try to make out a story. So if they think that there is a romance, it means we are doing it absolutely right.’
