They tied the knot on Thursday in a lavish Sydney ceremony. 

And following their ‘I do’s’, socialite Nadia Fairfax’s newly minted husband Michael Wayne had a spot of makeup applied for the couple’s wedding photos. 

The financier’s lip gloss was applied by a makeup artist as his influencer bride stood by his side.

Michael looked dapper in a camel-coloured suit, which he paired with a white shirt and a black tie. 

Meanwhile, Nadia, 31, looked stunning in a strapless white gown with a full skirt and fitted bodice with ruching.

Her long blonde hair was styled half-up, half-down with a ’60s-style bouffant and face-framing strands.

Nadia accessorised simply with a plain gold necklace and a collection of delicate bracelets and rings.

The couple were wed in a no-expense-spared ceremony at Swifts, a heritage-listed late-Victorian Gothic Revival mansion in Sydney’s Darling Point.  

The excited groom was seen beaming as he greeted guests outside the venue ahead of the wedding ceremony.

High-profile guests included former rugby league footballer Luke Ricketson and his wife Kate Waterhouse, Kate’s mother and famed horse trainer Gai Waterhouse and stylist Caroline Tran.

Guests had their temperatures checked as they arrived for the ceremony amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The couple exchanged vows in front of their friends and family in a stunning outdoor ceremony. 

Nadia and Michael stood facing each other on the makeshift altar, before posing for photos on the manicured grounds.  

She announced her engagement to Michael in March last year, and they were married almost a year to the day later.

The Sydney Morning Herald first revealed Nadia and Michael were dating in February 2019. 

Nadia is considered one of Sydney’s fashion ‘It’ girls, and has been pictured with Anna Wintour and the late Karl Lagerfeld.
