I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star Toni Pearen married husband Will Osmond in 2007 and the pair share two children, Lucky, 11, and Ever, eight. 

Now the 48-year-old actress has shared their romantic backstory to the Australian Women’s Weekly.

In the latest issue, Toni and Will revealed they met at former Darlinghurst bar, Will and Toby’s, while Toni was on a date with another man.

‘She would bring in boyfriends for me to critique them,’ Will fondly reminisced.

‘I’d tell her, ”He’s a keeper, that guy!” And then, you know, a year later… it got romantic,’ he added.   

The chance meeting occurred after Toni had returned from living in Los Angeles in 2001. The multi-talented performer was fronting Funniest Home Videos at the time.

The couple got together a year later and Will proposed on Christmas Eve in 2006.

He asked friend and singer David Campbell to deliver a special on-camera message that Will had an important question to ask. 

The couple now live in the Northern Beaches of Sydney, alongside their two young children Lucky and Ever. 

Toni has been coy about her dating life. However, while appearing on the last season of I’m A Celebrity she did say she dated Marisa Tomei’s brother.

‘I actually never had an American boyfriend when I was there because American men are intense,’ the former E Street actress began.

‘I remember I met this guy, I used to go to this cafe every single day. Do you know who Marisa Tomei is? She’s an actress, like quite a famous actress,’ Toni said. 

‘Her brother,’ Toni continued. 

‘He asked me out. He was fine. It was fine. We kissed. Nothing amazing.’

Toni rose to fame in the 1990s, playing Toni Windsor on E Street from the age of 17.  

She then moved on to a pop career, releasing hit singles such as In Your Room, I Want You and Walkway Lover.

Toni appeared briefly on Home and Away in 1994, before moving to America the following year, where she lived until 2002.
