MAFS’ Booka Nile reveals why Alana Lister and Jason Engler’s relationship is DOOMED

Married At First Sight star Booka Nile has made a grim prediction about the future of fellow couple Alana Lister and Jason Engler.

Speaking on The Kyle & Jackie O show, the 31-year-old rocker claimed the hot teacher and her construction estimator partner are heading for disaster.

She claimed that Alana and her ‘husband’ Jason are struggling because they don’t have much in common.

They’re doomed! Booka Nile has shed some light on the so-called love story between fellow Married At First Sight stars Alana Lister and Jason Engler

‘I don’t know if it comes across on the show [Alana’s] quite a deep thinker and she’s got a lot of unique interests,’ the blonde bombshell said.

‘She loves reading and those kinds of things but [Jason’s] not that kind of guy,’ Booka added.

‘It is not easy when you are the one who is changing parts of yourself.’ she added.

Booka’s explosive comments come after Jason lashed out at his ‘wife’ Alana during a Zoom conference call with their families on Tuesday’s episode of Married At First Sight.

Talking to Jason’s mum, Julie, and sister, Nicky, as well as her own sisters, Cheyvonne and Danielle, Alana, 30, complained about Jason’s tendency to shut down.

She admitted she was having a hard time moving forward from their arguments, because Jason, 35, would never want to talk things over.

But Jason took offence to her comments, and said they’d already discussed his tendency to shut down with the show’s love experts.

‘I haven’t done that for, like, three weeks now, so I don’t know why you keep saying that’s happening, because it hasn’t happened,’ he fumed.

The two then got into an argument over an earlier disagreement, with one of Alana’s sisters struggling to regain control of the spiraling situation.

Can't deal: 'I just don't see a point where Alana and I will get past these arguments that go around in a circle. I'm over... I cannot deal with this anymore,' he later said

‘Everything was Jason does this, Jason does that. What she’s saying is not true,’ he later complained.

He added: ‘I just don’t see a point where Alana and I will get past these arguments that go around in a circle. I’m over… I cannot deal with this anymore.’

They then stormed out of the movie cinema where they were talking with their families on the big screen, before returning to their apartment.

Jason confessed their latest fight had taken a toll, and said he’s ‘never been in a situation where I’m arguing this much’.

‘Obviously that’s not the impression that I wanted to give to our families, but Alana had all this pent up anger that she wants to bring up. It’s just snowballed,’ he said.

Talking to Jason, Alana added: ‘It was always going to end this way. You cannot have a conversation without turning it into an argument.’

As tensions grew between them, Jason then asked Alana why she was still in the experiment.

‘I’m not here for long, Jason,’ she coolly responded.

‘You make sure you keep by that. You make sure you write down “leave” like you’re supposedly going to next time,’ he angrily told her.

Married At First Sight continues Wednesday on Channel 9 at 7.30pm.
