Judd Apatow is drawing on Hollywood’s experience of the pandemic for his new comedy The Bubble.

And the filmmaker is bringing in a slew of celebrities as well as his own family members for the Netflix project.

Deadpool 2 actor Rob Delaney is the latest addition to the cast, Deadline.com reported Wednesday, joining Borat Subsequent Moviefilm breakout star Maria Bakalova, X-Filer David Duchovny, GOT’s Pedro Pascal and Apatow’s wife Leslie Mann.

Delaney is best known for his work on movie Deadpool 2 and TV series catastrophe

Apatow is directing and producing the comedy from his own script, co-written with Pam Brady.

Other actors on board include Fred Armisen and Keegan-Michael Key as well as Apatow and Mann’s daughter Iris.

The movie centers on a group of actors and actresses locked down in a hotel as they try to complete filming during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Bubble is the first film at Netflix for the director of The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Trainwreck and The King Of Staten Island.

Sources told THR last month that the movie was inspired by the making of Universal’s Jurassic World: Dominion.

Production on that film stopped and started several times last year due to positive COVID-19 tests among cast and crew.
