Married At First Sight Australia’s Mick Gould has said he would ‘rather jump in stinging nettles’ than ‘waste’ another minute with Jessika Power.
Plasterer and farmer Mick, 33, took part in an Instagram Q&A from his farm on Tuesday when he was quizzed about his ex-wife, 28.
When asked by a fan: ‘[Would you] rather jump in stinging nettles or waste another minute with Jess?’ the Queensland native, who had clearly never heard of the plant, quipped: ‘Stinging nettles, whatever the f**k that is.’

Mick – who strolled around his sprawling farm in a blue shirt and baseball cap as he answered questions – also made the surprising reveal that he has seen Jessika since the show aired.
When a fan queried: ‘Have you and Jess spoken since not being on MAFs?’ the down-to-earth countryman replied: ‘Yeah I ran into her at the pub.’
Mick also confirmed that it wasn’t just Jess and her onscreen BFF Martha Kalifatidis, 32, that he disliked.
When asked: ‘Was there anyone other than Jess and Martha that you didn’t like from the show?’ Mick replied: ‘Yes’ – but didn’t mention any names.

Despite his tumultuous stint on MAFS, Mick has remained friends with some cast mates, telling his followers that ‘yes’ he is still friends with people from the show.
The infamous sixth season of the show first aired in Australia in 2019, but only arrived in the UK this year.
Jessika famously admitted to cheating on her husband with Dan Webb on the show.
Mick had already bowed out of the relationship, but was devastated to learn that Jess had kept him in the competition for weeks in order to get close to Dan.
Declaring he had ‘wasted his time’ because he had wanted to get back to his farm in Queensland, Mick broke down in tears after learning about Jess’s lying and betrayal.

Since appearing on MAFS, Mick has found love with The Bachelor star Kayla Gray, 27.
The loved-up couple met at an event in 2019, and within five months Kayla had relocated to Mick’s Gympie farm.
Jessika has moved on with aspiring rapper Filip Poznanovic.
The pair went public in January, with Jess admitting she could already envision a future with her new beau.
She met the hunk through her brother, Rhyce Power, and revealed they’d ‘known each other for a while’ before they started dating.
