This year’s season of Married At First Sight hasn’t been short of surprises.
And Tuesday’s episode didn’t disappoint after the show’s couple were tasked with giving ‘unfiltered’ feedback to the other couples about their ‘marriages’.
During the show, Bryce Ruthven challenged co-star Jake Edwards and his bride Rebecca Zemek to step into each other’s shoes for the day.

After deciding to accept the task, Jake, 32, pulled out all the stops to show his bride, Beck, what he was willing to do to make their relationship work.
Jake later walked back into the couple’s shared apartment dressed in one of Beck’s gowns.
While it’s unclear if Jake had any assistance for the transformation, he wore a full face of makeup, which included foundation and red lipstick.

He completed his look by wearing a pair of Beck’s platform heels and a gold chain around his neck.
Meanwhile, Beck swapped her black mini-dress for one of Jake’s casual ensembles, which included a black Nirvana band T-Shirt and ripped denim jeans.
She completed her look wearing Jake’s Timberland boots, his earphones, and even attempted to replicate her husband’s tattoos with black marker on her arms and chest.

‘Is that a lion on your forearm? I don’t know what that is,’ he laughed upon seeing her failed attempt at recreating his ink.
The pair also imitated each other’s personalities, with Beck pretending to listen to Jake.
‘She obviously played in the listening thing quite, quite well,’ Jake later told producers.

Earlier in the episode, Jake and Beck offered Melissa complete control of her ‘husband’ Bryce, after they suggested that he liked to control their relationship.
Melissa then read her letter to Bryce and told him: ‘Your behaviour is aggressive and manipulative.’
An excited Melissa, 31, embraced her feedback task and decided to use it to take charge of her marriage.

‘He’s very well-groomed, so for him to be dressed and have his hair done in a way that’s not done by him would be a highly stressful situation for him,’ she said
Heading over to her husband’s closet, she asked, ‘What’s your favourite colour?’, and after he responded it was blue and white, Melissa told him he wasn’t allowed to wear those colours.
Melissa then put a series of hair clips in his hair, tied a pink scarf around his neck, and told him that he needed to go out on a date with her dressed like that.
