She broke down in tears last week after making hurtful comments about an inclusivity doll.

But Laura Byrne, 34, appeared to be in a more positive frame of mind on Monday, when The Bachelor alum shared images of her daughter Lola’s ‘first smile’.

In a heartwarming video, the one-month-old indeed cracked her first adorable grin.

Back to business: Following a tough week last week, Laura Byrne appeared to be in a more positive frame of mind on Monday, when The Bachelor alum shared images of her daughter Lola’s ‘first smile’

Describing her infant daughter’s smile as ‘that little smirk,’ the mum-of-two claimed that ‘first smiles are the best smiles’.

The sweet video comes just days after Byrne tearfully apologised for calling a Down syndrome doll ‘scary’.

On Saturday, Laura shared a clip of herself and one-year-old daughter Marlie Mae looking at a doll in the toy section of Kmart.

The mother of two then filmed a $15 inclusivity doll on the shelf, and said: ‘This baby here is truly petrifying, that is a scary AF (scary as f**k) doll.’

‘Good luck to luck to all the mamas surviving the next week of rain with toddlers inside,’ she wrote on the clip.

Visible in her video was doll’s name and description, which read: ‘Baby Amelia with Down Syndrome.’

‘I’m probably drawing attention to something that – f**k me I can’t even begin to describe how sorry I am,’ she began.

The podcaster explained that she had received a ‘whole heap of messages’ from her followers in response to the Stories she had shared.

‘I put up a story, Marlie and I were running through K-Mart and I was like “this doll looks scary AF” is exactly what I said.’

‘I really appreciate that your instant reaction was not to think that I’m an a**hole, because I would never ever do that intentionally. Like I said, I feel absolutely horrible so thanks everyone.’
