McDonald’s fan rejoice as fast food chain reveals Monopoly will be back this summer while the Big Tasty and Crème Egg McFlurry will return this week

- Also on the menu from Wednesday will be veggie favourite mozzarella sticks
- Comes as food chain announced McDonald’s Monopoly will be back this summer
McDonald’s has delighted fans by announcing the return of their Big Tasty from this Wednesday.
The fast food giant will bring back four of their seasonal menu items following a week of promotions on their app.
Alongside the Big Tasty and Big Tasty with Bacon, McDonald’s will also be adding Mozzarella Sticks, the Chicken BBQ Smokehouse burger and a Cadbury’s Creme Egg McFlurry in time for Easter.
It comes as the restaurant group said McDonald’s Monopoly will be back this summer.
The burger chain confirmed the news on its official Twitter account, writing: ‘The news you’ve all been waiting for… Monopoly returns Summer 2021.’
McDonald’s has delighted fans by announcing the return of their Big Tasty (left) from this Wednesday. Alongside the Big Tasty and Big Tasty with Bacon, McDonald’s will also be adding Mozzarella Sticks, the Chicken BBQ Smokehouse burger (right) and a Cadbury’s Creme Egg McFlurry in time for Easter.
The game has run every spring since 2005 in the UK and allows customers to win large cash prizes by collecting property game tokens, or smaller food prizes such as fries or a McFlurry with instant win stickers, but was put on hold last year due to Covid-19 closing down the restaurant industry.
McDonald’s haven’t revealed the exact date of the promotion, but have revealed their will be new items on the menu from Wednesday 24th Marhc.
Leading the he menu is the Big Tasty, a limited-edition burger is made with 100 per cent British and Irish beef, melty cheese made with Emmental, topped with tomato, lettuce, slivered onions and lashings of Big Tasty sauce, all on a sesame seed bun.
Fans can indulge in the popular burger with or without bacon for six weeks.
The much-loved Mozzarella Dippers and Cadbury Caramel McFlurry are on the menu too.
For those with a sweet tooth, the Cadbury Crème Egg Mcflurry is also returning by popular demand.
Also on the menu is the delicious Chicken BBQ Smokehouse burger.
Made with two pieces of succulent chicken with a smokey BBQ sauce, Cheddar cheese, Beechwood Smoked Bacon, crunchy red onion, lettuce, tomato & onion relish, all in a ciabatta style bun.
For those with a sweet tooth, the Cadbury Crème Egg Mcflurry is also returning by popular demand.
The ultimate Easter dessert is made from soft dairy ice cream, swirled with Cadbury milk chocolate pieces and the infamous gooey Cadbury Crème Egg fondant sauce.
The much-loved Mozzarella Dippers and Cadbury Caramel McFlurry are on the menu too.
Although McDonald’s restaurants are currently closed for dine-in, customers can still order via and walk-in takeaway, the Drive-Thru, McDelivery and Click & Serve using the My McDonald’s App. The new menu items are available in all UK restaurants until 5th of May.
It comes after the chain launched a week of deals including 99p chicken nuggets in stores today while tomorrow they will be 30 per cent off the entire menu.
