Married At First Sight viewers are baffled as Belinda gives Patrick a very awkward massage

Their reality TV courtship began with a bath during which Patrick infamously clapped Belinda’s feet together.

And the Married At First Sight couple continued their relationship’s foot fetish theme on Monday, when Belinda Vickers, 29, gave Patrick, 27, a bizarre back rub using her feet.

Viewers were perplexed by the scene, with one tweeting, ‘What the fark are Belinda and Patrick doing?’

‘Belinda [is] just treating him like she’s prepping a chook for tea,’ quipped one fan.

The seductive act began with Belinda dripping oil onto the bare back of an undies-clad Patrick.

The personal trainer yelped as the cold oil hit his skin.

However his discomfort turned to confusion when his door-to-door salesperson bride stood on his back. 

One fan likened the action to a Bugs Bunny cartoon with their sarcastic tweet.

‘Did Belinda (cat lady) just give a cartoon type massage? And Patrick follows it up with ‘Heavens to Betsy’ Ummm 1955 called and they want their time machine back,’ wrote the viewer. 

While another attacked her lack of sexuality, by writing, ‘Belinda reminds me of one of those dolls that has no genitals- completely sexless!’ 

One fan referenced a recent rumour that Belinda was in a relationship with 73-year-old Melbourne security guard Martin De Bono.

‘As Belinda looks down at that pale, doughy mess on the floor, she can’t help but long for her 72 year old ex [SIC],’ read the mean gag.

Vickers has subsequently denied the rumours. 

Meanwhile some attacked Patrick for what they perceived as his misguided attempt to bring physical intimacy to the couple’s relationship.

‘Patrick reckons Belinda giving HIM a massage will put HER in the mood?? Is he f***in serious?’

During Sunday’s commitment ceremony, Patrick and Belinda both opted to stay on in the experiment for another week.
