‘It’s a joke!’ Bachelorette’s Aggi Guardiani takes a swipe at Married At First Sight star Jaimie Gardner’s ‘bad edit’ and insists she ‘has a heart of gold’

Married At First Sight’s Jaimie Gardner raised eyebrows after she asked to smell her husband’s hands after he visited the restroom last week.

And while it may appear she is a snobby bride on-screen, her longtime friend and fellow reality star Agostino ‘Aggi’ Guardiani has claimed she’s the victim of a ‘bad edit’.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, the 31-year-old said: ‘As her long time friend I can tell you that she has a heart of gold and MAFS needs to work on their editing.

Aggi, who appeared on last year’s season of The Bachelorette, explained: ‘This is beyond a “bad edit” – it’s a joke.’

The Melbourne-based business owner went on say that keyboard warriors will soon be ‘eating their own words’ once the ‘truth was finally revealed’.

While he didn’t go into specifics, he said Jaimie was unfairly portrayed on the show.

He wrote: ‘Let me introduce myself to those I don’t know. I’m Adam Beaupeurt, Jaimie’s Man of Honour and one of her best friends.

‘It’s a privilege to be given both of those roles, Man of Honour and best friend (because Jaimie is very picky).’

Adam continued: ‘Finding myself as one of Jaimie’s best friends was a journey that began over 12 years ago. As many friendships form in Melbourne, it happened in the queue of a nightclub.’

‘Drink cards were the currency of our friendship. But, it didn’t take me very long to see beneath her stunning beauty, and to get to know who Jaimie really was.’

Adam went on to describe Jaimie as a ‘Princess with a big heart’.
