Andy Lee reveals his exciting goals for 2021 with girlfriend Rebecca Harding

He was recently announced as the host for Channel 10’s new game show, The Cube.

And after landing a new television gig, Australian comedian Andy Lee has revealed he has set several goals he is hoping to achieve in 2021.

Speaking to The Sunday Telegraph, the 39-year-old explained: ‘I’m into setting realistic goals, so I think it would be wise for me to consume slightly less beer.’

‘Beer was my main staple. Thankfully, [girlfriend Rebecca Harding] has come along and changed those ingrained policies,’ he said.

Andy explained he and his girlfriend Rebecca are also aiming to eat at least two vegetarian meals a week and only drink alcohol on the weekends.

He is keeping fit my undergoing regular exercise including playing golf and football with friends.

The radio host, who also plays executive producer to the new game show said he also can’t wait to clock up his frequent flyer travel points.

‘I can’t wait to travel again, At first supporting Australian tourism with some trips in Oz, and then hopefully getting across the ditch to New Zealand to enjoy some Steinlagers from a chilly bin in some jandals,’ he said.

It comes as the radio star recently admitted to rejecting an offer to host Channel Seven’s reboot of Dancing With The Stars to host The Cube instead. 

In an interview with the TV Reload podcast, Andy, ‘Hamish and I, when Darryl Summers finished up on Dancing With The Stars, got asked to host it… I don’t know when that was.’

‘We did not have to think long to say no because neither of us dance,’ he said of himself and fellow host Hamish Blake. 

‘I like the show but it wasn’t the type of show for two twenty year fellas to suddenly do,’ he said. 

Based on the UK series of the same name, The Cube will see contestants put in a small perspex cube where they must take on a series of tasks in the hopes of winning $250,000.
