A shopper was left baffled after ordering a ‘tie dye’ hoodie from Boohoo, which arrived looking almost unrecognisable compared to what she ordered.

British beauty blogger Natalie, 19, took to Twitter to share her disappointment after ordering the men’s Oversized Butterfly Back Print Tie Dye Hoodie from the online retailer.

Posting under the username @fairiesmakeup on Saturday, she showed two comparison pictures of the blue hoodie, showing what was advertised on the Boohoo website alongside what she claims she received.

Alongside the snaps, the beauty blogger simply wrote ‘expectations vs reality’ and tagged Boohoo in the post, but it is not believed that she has received a response.

Images taken from the Boohoo website show the £19.60 blue tie dye hoodie covered with black tie dye patterns in an acid-washed style.

The hoodie also featured colourful butterflies printed on to the front and back of the pullover hoodie, with the word ‘Official’ in a large front down the back.

But Natalie’s photograph of what she claims actually arrived looks almost unrecognisable compared with what was modelled on the website.

Natalie’s snap shows several large blobs of black dye scattered across the hoodie, while most of the item remains a washed-out pastel blue colour.

The one noticeable matching feature between the two hoodies is the same butterfly motif, which is positioned across the centre of the chest.

MailOnline has contacted Boohoo for comment.

It is not the first time boohoo has come under fire for online pictures not matching up to the products.

Last March, Beccy Carr from Neston, Wirral, was ‘gobsmacked’ when she tried on a Midi Dress, which left little to the imagination.

The dress she ordered left her lower region totally exposed as it barely covered her knickers.
