Strictly’s Katya Jones makes a defiant statement with her coat as she leaves BBC’s Morning Live

Her personal life endured turmoil after she was caught cheating with her former Strictly Come Dancing partner Seann Walsh in 2018.

And, Katya Jones, 31, made a defiant statement with her coat as she left BBC’s Morning Live studio in London, on Thursday, after presenting the Strictly Fitness segment on the show. 

Her longline grey jacket was emblazoned with the well-known saying: ‘You only know my name, not my story!’ which appeared to have been drawn on with white paint.

The professional dancer wore distressed black skinny jeans and a semi-sheer black top beneath her coat as she made an animated exit from the TV studios. 

Katya was sure to show off the statement on her jacket to cameras, and a padded layer beneath helped her to keep the chill at bay. 

The Russian beauty styled her raven tresses into a half-up ‘do with a plait twisted into a cone atop her head.

She opted for a flawless make-up look, completed with a slick of red lipstick, and added a splash of colour with aqua drop-earrings. 

Recently, in an interview with Waggel, Kaya reflected on how she found her 30th birthday in 2019 ‘challenging’ because her marriage to Neil Jones, 38, was going ‘downhill’.

After 11 years together, Katya and Neil announced their separation in September 2019- ten months after she was pictured kissing her former dancer partner Seann Walsh, who had a girlfriend at the time. 

Talking about the dark period, she said: ‘In 2019 I turned 30, it was a challenging time. I didn’t like where I was, it felt like I was in limbo actually 

‘My relationship was going downhill. I didn’t feel happy in my own company until May 2020, when I spent my birthday in lockdown.’

Katya also revealed she has used the time since her split from Neil to ‘better myself’ and hasn’t dated since they broke-up.

The Russian dancer confirmed in December she’s ‘very much single’ after her split from Neil.
