Kyle Sandilands abruptly ends interview with Lisa Vanderpump after a ‘snooping publicist’ caused a major delay on the phone line

And on Wednesday, Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson gave up halfway through an interview with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Vanderpump that was plagued by technical problems.
‘I’m not going to put up with two seconds of delay so some slob can listen on the phone,’ Kyle said, referring to how Lisa’s publicist being on the line was causing a major delay with their chat.

Prior to hanging up, Kyle and Jackie had nothing but praise for the popular reality star as they rang her to discuss her latest project.
But after two seconds of silence while waiting for her response to a question, Kyle said: ‘That’s not workable. The publicist can listen on the radio – I’m not wasting my life re-routing it through New York, it’s a joke!’
‘What Kyle is saying is when there’s a publicist on the phone, it holds up the delay even more,’ Jackie explained.

‘The publicist is in New York, then we’ve got to ring through New York… it’s just too much. It’s a live radio show man,’ he continued.
Kyle then asked his producer what the delay was for, to which she replied: ‘It is because of the publicist connects.’
‘I told you no publicist connects! This is a live radio show on the other side of the planet,’ Kyle responded, before labelling the publicist a ‘slob’.

‘We don’t know what they’re like, Kyle!’ Jackie responded.
‘If you want a good flowing interview, you do it the proper way. So dumb, all these publicists p**s me off,’ Kyle concluded.
Daily Mail Australia has contacted Lisa’s representatives for further comment.
