The Bachelor’s Nick Viall ‘briefly dated January Jones’ after sliding into her DMs on social media
He’s known for finding love in hopeless places.
So it comes as no surprise that Nick Viall’s attempts to woo January Jones via direct message on social media actually panned out with an in-person date as he described their brief relationship while chatting on Tuesday’s episode of Better Together with Maria Menounos.
The Bachelor fan-favorite admitted that while they’ve moved on to different relationships, they’re ‘still friends’ and ‘still cool’ with each other after dating some time ago.

‘I briefly dated January Jones, and people know about that,’ he told guest host and Maria Menounos’ husband, Keven Undergaro. ‘We’re still friends, and we’re still cool.’
‘The first time I knew who January was, I was a kid living in Milwaukee watching Mad Men, and this was like the hottest person I’ve ever seen,’ he continued. ‘And then fast forward 10 years later, and I’m on a date.’
The 42-year-old actress revealed to Dax Shepherd on his Armchair Exper podcast last year that she received a little more than she bargained for when she went on a rant about the notorious villain from a myriad of Bachelor-related programming, only for Nick to reach out directly and spark a match.

‘I briefly dated January Jones, and people know about that,’ he told guest host and Maria Menounos’ husband, Keven Undergaro. ‘We’re still friends, and we’re still cool.’
January admitted she was a big fan of the show, but not Nick, and complained about his appearances on talk shows only for the Wisconsin native to show up in her private messages.
‘She went on TV and kind of anecdotally talked about being a fan of The Bachelor, and she brought my name up,’ he explained. ‘People thought either she was teasing me or flirting and so, I just DM’d her.’
Viall noted that January was ‘a delightful, wonderful person’ and he ‘enjoyed his time with her’ but, ‘like I said, it’s nice to still be able to call her a friend.’
January wasn’t the only Hollywood star that Nick previously dated as Rachel Bilson also made the roster in 2019.

Nick first starred on Andi Dorfman’s season of The Bachelorette in 2014 and made it all the way to the final rose ceremony before Andi chose Josh Murray.
He vied for Kaitlyn Bristowe’s heart on the next season of The Bachelorette, and, once again made it to the end, only for Kaitlyn to give her rose to Shawn Booth.
Viall turned to Bachelor in Paradise for another chance at love, but couldn’t propose to Jen Saviano at the end because he wasn’t in love.
It wasn’t over for Nick though, as he was asked to be The Bachelor for the 21st season of the dating show.
At the end of the production in 2016, he proposed to Vanessa Grimaldi, but their relationship ran its course and they broke up before wedding bells rang.
