Rich the Kid is arrested at LAX accused of possessing a concealed weapon

Rich the Kid was arrested Monday at LAX airport in connection with possession of a concealed weapon.

Authorities in Los Angeles told TMZ that the Plug Walk artist, 28, was taken into custody after 1 p.m. PT. at the travel hub.

The rap artist, whose real name is Dimitri Leslie Roger, had problems at an airport less than two years ago following a Los Angeles-to-Sacramento flight.

In the incident, officials told TMZ that the Queens, New York-born artist was irate because flight attendants ceased alcohol service ahead of the plane’s landing descent.

After an exchange of words between the rapper and flight crew, flight officials contacted police reporting an unruly passenger.

Police officers talked to Rich the Kid when he landed, and mediated a chat between the artist and Delta officials, with no further actions taken by either party.

The rapper is also facing a number of legal battles, as he was named in multiple lawsuits filed last year, including from a jeweler and the company Fashion Nova, the outlet reported.
