Married At First Sight fans compare new bride Jaimie Gardner to villain Rebecca Zemek

Married At First Sight introduced yet another new couple on Tuesday’s episode, but fans weren’t loving new bride Jaimie Gardner.

Viewers flocked to Twitter to complain about the 35-year-old, comparing the high maintenance senior brand manager to fellow bride Rebecca Zemek.

‘Jaime [sic] seems like the nicer version of Bec,’ tweeted one viewer, while another commented, ‘I already don’t like her. Another Bec. Judgemental [sic] af’.

‘Folks looks like we’ve got another Bec on our hands,’ tweeted another fan, while one person labelled her ‘Bec 2.0’. 

Others accused her of being ‘high maintenance’ and ‘stuck up’, after she confessed to being underwhelmed by her groom, Chris Jensen.

‘When someone jokes about high maintenance you know it’s not gonna be a fun ride,’ tweeted one viewer.

‘Jaime’s [sic] giving off young Liberal vibes,’ wrote another, while one person commented, ‘Jamie [sic] seems incredibly stuck up’.

Added another viewer: ‘I am already exhausted by this new bride. Holy s**t.’

‘Jaime [sic] don’t be a b***h to Ragnar please,’ tweeted another fan, referencing the legendary Viking hero, Ragnar Lodbrok.

‘Jaimie showing the emotional capacity of a recently deceased goldfish,’ commented another.

Ahead of her wedding to Chris, 32, Jaimie confessed she was ‘used to dating highflying idiots’, and wanted someone ‘genuine’.

‘My standards are a little bit high. I can be a little bit picky. I hope this guy is my dream guy. I’m so ready for it to be forever,’ she said. 

After admitting she’s ‘a bit fussy with who I date’, Jaimie said she wanted her groom to be ‘perfect’.

Even Jaimie’s friends admitted her standards are impossibly high, revealing her nickname is ‘Princess’. 

But after meeting Chris, Jaimie confessed she wasn’t a fan: ‘First impressions? He’s not my usual type.’
