Married At First Sight: Bryce and Melissa meet each other’s families in Melbourne

Their relationship has raised eyebrows, but it seems Married At First Sight’s Bryce Ruthven and Melissa Rawson are still very much together.

The controversial couple proved their romance was stronger than ever on Sunday as they met each other’s families in Melbourne.

Radio announcer Bryce, 31, and workplace trainer Melissa, also 31, looked happy and relaxed as they kissed in front of their relatives.

Bryce, who was holding a bottle of beer, dressed causally a plain grey sweater with black jeans and a baseball cap

Melissa opted for a multi-coloured jumper, which she teamed with black jeans.

The lovebirds beamed with pride and put on a united front as they waited for guests to arrive for what appeared to be a family gathering.

An older man – likely Melissa’s father – stepped out of a white SUV and she hurried to embrace him. Afterwards, Bryce shook his hand.

She then went around to the other side of the car to greet a female family member.

A short time later, a second group of people – likely Bryce’s family – joined the party and he greeted them with open arms.

After more hugs were exchanged, Bryce pulled Melissa close to him and kissed her.

He certainly wasn’t shy about packing on the PDA in front of their families, which is a telling sign their relationship is getting serious.

The group then entered the property, presumably for a relaxed Sunday lunch.

Bryce and Melissa’s family gathering comes after they recently hit back at critics of their relationship.

MAFS viewers have repeatedly criticised the former Hit Network radio presenter for his disrespectful behaviour towards his wife.

During one infamous challenge, he ranked Melissa the ‘fourth hottest’ bride in the experiment and even told her she wasn’t his ‘type’.

Controversial: Viewers of the show have slammed Byrce's disrespectful behaviour towards Melissa. He ranked Melissa as the 'fourth hottest' on the show following a challenge early in the season, and later told his new 'wife' that she's 'not his type'

Despite this awful gaffe, Bryce told Who magazine: ‘We were matched by the experts for a reason… we’re meant to be together.’

Melissa added: ‘We’re heavily invested in one another and we’re not too worried about what other brides and grooms – or anyone else, for that matter – thinks of us.’

Meanwhile, Bryce is facing allegations he cheated on his ex-fiancée and also had a ‘secret girlfriend’ throughout filming last year.

Married At First Sight continues Tuesday at 7.30pm on Channel Nine
