MAFS: Martha and Michael share the secrets they’ve kept from each other

They’ve been in each other’s pockets since tying the knot on Married At First Sight’s sixth season back in 2019.

And while Martha Kalifatidis and Michael Brunelli share their lives on social media, they have also kept a few secrets.

Speaking on Nova’s Fitzy & Wippa on Tuesday, the couple revealed a few of the things they haven’t shared with each other.

Martha, 32, confessed she once deliberately left Michael’s car unlocked in North Bondi and secretly hoped someone would steal it.

‘There’s no suspension on the car. I feel like I get boat sick every time I’m in the car. If you see the car in North Bondi, just know it’s not locked and the spare key is always in the glove box,’ she said.

Michael, 29, said he avoids going to Vietnamese because he can’t stand the way his girlfriend slurps when she eats phở. 

‘I try to avoid buying phở because of the way she slurps when she eats it. It’s the loudest slurps in the world,’ he said.

‘We’ve recently been watching Homeland… and all I could hear was her slurping through 40 minutes.’

Martha also revealed she washes Michael’s clothes in hot water – even though he asks her not to – because she wants them to shrink so she can wear them.

‘I do it on purpose… I want them to fit me a little bit better,’ she said.

Michael responded: ‘This has been one of the biggest mysteries of the last two years – how my clothes were shrinking. And she’s claim she would always use cold water…’

He then revealed Martha was actually wearing one of his shrunken jackets during their appearance on Fitzy & Wippa.

‘I bought him [that] for us to share,’ she joked.
