She chose her words carefully when asked about the cricketer’s funky facial hair on Channel Seven’s The Morning Show.

Candice revealed she was a fan of David’s moustache.

‘I actually like it, but it does need to be trimmed a little bit more often,’ she said diplomatically.

‘And the girls [their daughters] are always like, “Dad, shave it off, it’s itchy.”‘

In January, Candice spoke to Daily Mail Australia about family life and whether she and David would have another child.

She said they were done having children for now, but would ‘never say never’.

‘I thought I always wanted four and then I had Isla and then not too much later Covid hit, it did change a lot of things,’ Candice explained.

‘And last year I spent a lot of time being a single mum [while David was playing cricket] and it’s difficult. You only have so much energy and love to share with everyone,’ she added.

Candice then admitted motherhood can be ‘hard’.

‘I’ve found at times where things do get too much or at times you snap at your child,’ she said.

When asked about expanding her brood, she replied: ‘I think three, I’m really happy. Never say never, but I’d be highly surprised if we were to go again. I think three is our lucky number and we’re pretty happy with that.’

The Warners share three daughters, Ivy Mae, six, Indi Rae, five, and Isla Rose, one.
