The telling sign that Bindi Irwin has secretly given birth: Wildlife Warrior, 22, shares an old picture of herself cradling her burgeoning baby bump

Rumours are rife that Steve Irwin’s daughter Bindi has secretly given birth to her first child.

On Tuesday, the 22-year-old Wildlife Warrior shared an old picture of herself cradling her burgeoning baby bump alongside husband Chandler Powell, 24, and her mother Terri and brother Robert.

Bindi’s due date was believed to be around late March or early April and she is expecting a daughter.

Despite Bindi’s caption saying that they’re still ‘waiting’ for the arrival of her daughter, she and husband Chandler were seen last month wearing the exact same outfits they wore in the photograph she posted this week.

The pair were pictured wearing the same outfits as they walked through the Australia Zoo car park on February 19.

This could indicate that Chandler and Bindi have scored a magazine deal to announce the birth of their daughter and are keeping mum on the birth for now.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Australia Zoo for comment, in relation to this article.

Bindi and Chandler announced their baby news in August, and revealed the following month they were expecting a daughter.

Earlier this month meanwhile, Bindi shared a sweet glimpse into her daughter’s nursery, revealing she had artist Maryanne Oliver paint native animals on the walls.

‘Thank you so much to our friend, Maryanne, for this amazing painting in our daughter’s Australia Zoo nursery. She’s going to love it!’

The colourful mural included pictures of crocodiles, galahs, cockatoos and of course, koalas.

Bindi told The Bump last month that her late father Steve Irwin has inspired her baby’s nickname and said that he ‘would have been the best grandfather’ to her child.

Bindi said her little girl’s nickname was ‘Baby Wildlife Warrior’, and explained: ‘My dad was the first person to create the term Wildlife Warrior.’

She added that Steve would have been in his element as a grandfather.

‘My dad would have been the best grandfather,’ she said. ‘I always joke that if he was still here we’d never see our baby because he’d take her on all kinds of adventures!’

Bindi said she was looking forward to sharing her father’s legacy of conservation with her daughter when she’s old enough to understand it.

Steve died in September 2006 at the age of 44 after being pierced in the chest by a stingray barb while filming a documentary in Batt Reef, Queensland.

Bindi also said her mother Terri was looking forward to becoming a grandmother and will go by the name ‘Bunny’ once the child arrives.
