Sunrise: Age-defying Natalie Barr, 52, insists she’s never had Botox

She’s the age-defying new host of Channel Seven’s breakfast show Sunrise, taking over from long-standing presenter Samantha Armytage.

And on Monday, Natalie Barr, 52, was grilled about her role on The Kyle and Jackie O Show, where she also touched on the topic of whether or not she’s had Botox.

After discussing with Kyle Sandilands how good her co-host David ‘Kochie’ Koch looks at 65, Natalie said: ‘He’s fit, he goes to the gym, he’s had no Botox…’

After Kyle exclaimed ‘bulls**t!’, a defensive Natalie said: ‘He hasn’t! I haven’t either. I mean, I’m not saying no in the future…’

Kyle responded: ‘I haven’t had any Botox either, you wouldn’t believe that. Not a needle, nothing.’

He then joked that Jackie ‘O’ Henderson was ‘littered’ with Botox, prompting her to raise her eyebrows to prove otherwise.

‘I don’t have it! Look at my frown. Ahh look, there is a bit of residual there,’ said Jackie, who has admitted to having Botox in the past. 

Kyle then asked Natalie if she would be aiming for another ’20 years’ as host, to which she responded: ‘I don’t know whether I could make it to 73 – but who knows!’

Natalie spoke out about cosmetic injectables last year, during a candid interview with Stellar magazine.

‘I am not one of those people who panics about looks,’ she told the publication. ‘I keep reasonably fit, I haven’t had Botox – though no judgement if you do’.

She added that she does boost the volume of her hair with extensions, however.

‘I do wear hairpieces because they fill my hair out. I’m just glad the viewer doesn’t expect us all to be 23,’ she said.
