Southern Charm’s Shep Rose seemed to back up co-star Madison LeCroy’s claims she was DMing with Alex Rodriguez, allegedly causing the end of his engagement to Jennifer Lopez.
The Charleston, South Carolina-based reality star addressed the ‘crazy’ rumors while appearing on Andy Cohen’s Radio Andy show on SiriusXM on Monday, telling the host Madison revealed her secret to the cast after a party last July.
Shep, 41, says that while cameras were around, she was able to keep her confession off the air by claiming she had signed an NDA to chat with the MLB legend, whose people denied he and Lopez had split over the weekend.

Andy asked Shep what he knew about the situation, which Rose commented on in an Us Weekly article.
‘Here’s how it went down,’ he told Andy ‘We had an episode on Capers Island [shot last July.] I don’t know if anybody remembers that, but we were all out at the beach and it was lovely.
‘And [Madison] threw the party and [on/off ex] Austen wasn’t invited and it was like contentious and whatnot.’
During the ride home, Shep says things got ‘kinda heated, between everyone really, except for me.’
Amid the tension, Rose says Madison blurted out her new relationship situation right in front of the cameras ‘buzzing around’ the boat.
‘She’s like, “Well, I’m DMing and with A-Rod, but we can’t talk about that. Or they can’t air this because I signed an NDA” and that’s the first I heard of it.

The reality star then mused about NDAs themselves, calling the privacy agreements ‘weird little documents’ while appearing to call Madison’s motivations into question.
‘I’m not sure how effective they are and I’m not sure if I signed one in any capacity, I would be talking about it very much. For my own preservation,’ he said.
Madison’s A-Rod confession didn’t air, but during the Southern Charm reunion co-star Craig Conover ‘let the cat out of the bag,’ according to Rose.
Taking LeCroy to task during the January end-of-season tell-all, he said that the hairstylist had been ‘flying around the country sleeping with men, married men. Ex-MLB players,’ a claim which the hairdresser – who has also been linked to former NFL star and ex of Kristin Cavallari, Jay Cutler – said she would ‘take a lie detector test’ to deny.
