This year’s season of Married At First Sight hasn’t been short of surprises.
During Monday night’s episode, the show’s cast were invited to attend the weddings of the experiments two new intruder couples.
But things took a rather embarrassing turn after new groom, Johnny Balbuziente, accidentally mistook the cast for paid actors.

While waiting for his bride, Kerry Knight, to arrive, a nervous Johnny, 29, began greeting his guests.
‘Timmy, representing my side,’ he called out in excitement before greeting a friend.
He then pointed two men sitting behind the friend and asked, ‘You guys obviously?’
To which they swifty replied: ‘Friends with the bride.’

While trying to stop themselves from laughing, Bryce Ruthven, Melissa Rawson and James Susler were quick to shake their heads, and say they didn’t know the bride.
Johnny then asked, ‘Oh… rent-a-crowd?’ leaving the cast in hysterics as they laughed off his confusion.

Bryce then explained, ‘Hey, we got married four weeks ago… we’re one of you.’
A relieved Johnny appeared only too thrilled to be joined by someone that knew how he was feeling.
Off camera, bride Joanne Todd was heard asking the theatre star how he was feeling to which he said he couldn’t articulate his emotions .
She reassured him by saying, ‘Once you turn around and you see her, like, I think all the nerves kind of go away.’
Bryce then explained, ‘Hey, we got married four weeks ago… we’re one of you.’ A relieved Johnny appeared only too thrilled to be joined by someone that knew how he was feeling
