Married at First Sight’s Bryce Ruthven has been at the centre of cheating rumours for weeks – including the bombshell claim he had a ‘secret girlfriend’ during filming last year.
And his on-screen wife Melissa Rawson has now explained why she’s standing by her man, despite the speculation surrounding his alleged infidelity.
The workplace trainer, 31, told TV Week magazine she’d ‘put [her] trust’ in the radio announcer and wasn’t listening to outside gossip.

Meanwhile, fellow bride Beck Zemek told TV Week she’d informed Melissa that Bryce was bragging during the experiment about having a secret girlfriend ‘on the outside’.
She also claimed he had ‘flirted’ with her after placing her first in his ranking of the ‘most attractive’ brides on the show. (He placed Melissa fourth).
But Melissa dismissed these claims, saying if Beck was so concerned to find out about Bryce’s ‘secret girlfriend’, she should have told her earlier.
‘If I found out that there was a secret person for somebody else in the experiment, I would have told them straight away,’ she said. ‘I put my trust in [Bryce].’

The bombshell claims were first made by Big Brother star and radio presenter Jason Roses, who was a guest at Bryce and Melissa’s TV wedding.

Speaking to the The Anj, Rob & Robbo Show last month, Jason said he’d accidentally revealed Bryce’s secret to producers when he thought he wasn’t being filmed.
‘I was talking to someone off camera, so I thought the camera wasn’t recording me. And I might have said something that is going to cause big, big [drama],’ he said.
Jason claimed that as the season progresses, Bryce will be confronted with rumours he was still in a relationship when he joined the experiment.

Bryce will apparently deny the rumours until the reunion episode, where producers will play back Jason’s earlier statements.
‘What I said was now shown to the entire cast of Married At First Sight,’ Jason explained.
‘It was at the reunion, and they’ve basically said, “Bryce, if you think you’re telling the truth, this is what your friend had to say in secret.”‘
