Jackie ‘O’ Henderson is left shaken after an old woman gives her a ‘bushman’s blow’

Jackie ‘O’ Henderson has revealed she was recently the victim of a shocking incident inside a shopping centre car park. 

The KIIS FM shock jock, 46, revealed on Monday’s radio show that an elderly woman had performed a ‘bushman’s blow on her inside the Edgecliff shopping centre car park, in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.  

A ‘bushman’s blow’ is a colloquial term describing the act of clearing one’s nasal passage by placing a finger over one nostril and exhaling violently through the other. 

‘It was just this old lady… she did a bushman’s blow on me. I can’t believe she did that,’ she told her co-host Kyle Sandilands.  

‘What did she say?’ gasped Kyle, to which Jackie replied: ‘Nothing! She said nothing! Just came up, did a… can’t even say the word.’

Kyle then began to demonstrate a bushman’s blow for listeners who aren’t familiar with the term. 

Horrified, Jackie intervened: No! I can’t listen, I can’t listen!’ before covering her ears.

Kyle continued: ‘So the old lady would have put one finger on one [side of the] nose, and with all her might, sucked in some air and blown snot out of one [side of the] nose. Is that what happened?   

Jackie said she was lucky to have avoided being struck by the flying mucus, as it had landed just in front of her foot. 

Kyle then asked Jackie whether she’d confronted the woman for her rude behaviour.

‘I wish I had of, but I think I was just in so much shock! I was like, ‘What the frick?’  

‘You should have taken that b**ch out,’ joked Kyle, to which Jackie replied: ‘I would if it was today!’
