Selena Gomez received a pleasant surprise Thursday in celebration of the release of her Spanish-language album Revelación.
The 28-year-old singer shared the moment on Instagram Stories for her roughly 215 million followers.
‘So, I come back from set and I see this in my room,’ said Selena who has been filming the Hulu comedy series Only Murders In The Building with comedy legends Steve Martin, 75, and Martin Short, 70, in New York City.

She then panned to show giant golden balloons reading out the name of her seven-song, extended play.
‘It says Revelacion. I’m so, so excited. My best friends did this for me, I’m here by myself,’ explained Selena who also showed new strands of pink hair.
‘But this is the coolest thing and I hope you guys like the album and have so much fun with it,’ added the Texas native who was bundled up in a thick brown coat and also sporting a blue medical mask amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
‘Obviously, I’ve been wanting to do this for so, so long. And I’m so grateful and it’s my first Spanish album and it’s something that I’ve wanted to do for 10 years,’ Selena continued.

Selena previously released three songs from the EP, including: the lead single De Una Vez, the duet Baila Conmigo and the DJ Snake collaboration Selfish Love.
The EP also includes the songs Buscando Amor, Vicio, Adiós and Dámelo To.
