Paris Hilton reveals a fan snuck into her home by pretending to be her friend

‘He was sitting in my kitchen waiting for me’: Paris Hilton details terrifying moment a fan tricked his way into her home by claiming to be her friend

Paris Hilton had a ‘really scary’ encounter with a fan in her own kitchen.

The star, 40, admitted she’s always attracted unwanted attention, and found it ‘creepy’ when people would rummage through her bins for souvenirs.

Speaking to Sean Evans on his YouTube series ‘Hot Ones’, she detailed a more disturbing incident came when a man fooled a member of her staff into thinking he was one of her friends, leaving her terrified.

Paris said: ‘I remember one time I came home and there were paparazzi there. They were like, “By the way, some guy was like, looking through your trash, taking everything with him, and he’s been doing this a couple of times”…

‘And it was just creepy that someone was doing that. My housekeeper at the time [let him in because she] didn’t know, because this guy said he was my friend. He was just sitting in my kitchen waiting for me, which was really scary.’

Despite this, the Stars Are Blind hitmaker admits she likes interacting with her fans on Instagram and Twitter but she worries about the messages social media can send to young people, so warned them not to take the sites seriously.

She said: ‘I can’t even imagine being a 13-year-old girl and having these pressures of having to be perfect and care about likes and people trolling you and being mean.

‘I think that’s a really important message for kids to know. Yeah, social media is fun,

She reacted to Silverman’s apology, which was issued last week, during an impromptu episode of her This Is Paris podcast.

Speaking about Sarah’s social media apology, she said: ‘[Sarah] was so genuine and so sweet and it really moved me. I felt emotional hearing it and I could tell that she really did mean what she said as she was apologizing…

‘I was shocked when I read it at first and pleasantly surprised,’ admitted the socialite, 39, after she was made aware of Silverman’s sorrowful words in an article sent to her by a friend.

‘And I just wanna just leave a message to her. To say something back: Thank you. I really, really appreciate you doing that.

‘I know it is difficult for anyone to apologize and for someone to do that really means a lot,’ said Paris.

Paris revealed that she ‘got a little teary eyed’ listening to her recall making eye contact with her at the awards, after rattling off the now ill fated jokes.
