Her latest post comes about three months after she released a new song called Girl Like Me in collaboration with the Black Eyed Peas.

‘I was in front of this white canvas and sort of panicking, and I was, at the same time, conflicted because I didn’t want to stop spending time with my kids, but I also wanted to attend to my own needs as a creator, as an artist, as a producer,’ she told Billboard in an interview promoting El Dorado.

Since that album she has remained active in the public eye including a sizzling appearance at the Super Bowl last year.

She and Jennifer Lopez shared the halftime show where Shakira brought back a lot of her old hits including Hips Don’t Lie and Waka Waka (This Time For Africa).
