Rose Byrne takes off her curly 80s wig to reveal her own silky tresses while on set of dark aerobics dramedy Physical

She’s been rocking a wild curly wig around the set of her aerobics-fueled Apple TV+ dramedy Physical.

But Rose Byrne let her real tresses see the sun during a brief break from shooting in Santa Monica, California on Wednesday.

The Aussie actress, 41, was glowing as she poked her head out of a trailer to give someone her jacket and bag.

The full, kinky mane was gone and instead Byrne had her shoulder-length brunette locks tied back with a leopard-print scarf.

Rose had traded the patterned sweater and mom jeans she wore on camera earlier in the day for a comfy grey Clare V sweatshirt with the phrase ‘Liberté, égalité, maternité’ on the front – a feminist twist on the French national motto.

Continuing the low key look, the Bridesmaids actress slipped into a pair of matching sweatpants and white Birkenstocks with blue socks showing.

Rose enjoyed a bubbly mid-day treat, seen sipping on a sparkling Topo Chico water as she popped a mask on and left her trailer.

In Physical, Rose plays tortured San Diego housewife Sheila who begins to find herself when she’s swept up into the aerobics craze of the 80s.

‘It’s about paving that path for those wellness gurus and lifestyle gurus, which are now sort of a dime a dozen but back then was groundbreaking,’ Byrne explained during a virtual TCA panel last month, per THR.

Sheila darkly funny take on life mingles with her own demons about body image.

The Mrs. America star said that her character’s struggle with self-worth is relatable to anyone.

‘There is no exclusive person, there is no rule of who or who doesn’t feel like this or has personal demons no matter who you are, or what you look like, or where you’re from, or anything,’ she explained.

And while she said she found the aerobics scenes liberating, the same could not be said of the era-perfect costumes.

‘Those leotards are just within an inch of their life. It’s like a Marvel costume or something, the amount of fittings I’ve had.’

Physical is set for a summer 2021 release on Apple TV+.
