Ed Kavalee proved that he’s mastered a viral challenge currently sweeping the internet, which pits men against women.   

In a video posted by his wife, Tiff Hall, on Instagram on Tuesday, the 41-year-old comedian tried the TikTok gender balance challenge.

Ed was joined by his wife of six years and the couple’s young son, Arnold, three, for the challenge.

The trio knelt on the ground and leant on their forearms, then cupped their faces with their hands, before reaching their arms behind their backs. 

While most men struggle to successfully complete the challenge, Ed smashed it, leaving Tiff, 36, surprised.   

‘You’re supposed to fall down!’ she told him, while an unfazed Ed added, ‘If you can’t do that, you’re pathetic.’

Former football star Brendan Fevola completely failed when he attempted the challenge last month. 

Experts say the reason men fall and women don’t can be explained by the natural centre of gravity difference between men and women.

Generally speaking, men are built longer and larger than women, and their proportions make it more difficult to move in the same fashion.

In Ed’s case, his washboard abs clearly give him a whole lot of core strength.
