MAFS: Viewers shocked as Sam Carraro calls Bryce Ruthven ‘Gonzo’

Married At First Sight viewers shocked at Sam Carraro’s ‘low blow’ insults as he calls Bryce Ruthven ‘Gonzo’ and insults his nose numerous times during the pair’s blazing row

Bryce Ruthven and Sam Carraro got into a heated argument on Wednesday’s Married At First Sight, resulting in a glass of water being thrown in a fit of rage.

But viewers were left completely gobsmacked with 32-year-old Sam’s immature choice of ‘low blow’ insults that he threw at the former radio presenter, who retaliated with a swill of liquid in the face.

‘Do you need the whole of Australia to hold your hand, Gonzo?’ Sam had said to Bryce, referring to the Muppets character with the big beak.

‘Every time I walk out of my room, I see Melissa [Rawson] crying… I don’t know if you’ve poked her in the eyes with your big nose or not,’ he later spat to Bryce.

Viewers were quick to comment on Sam’s surprise choice of words, with one writing: ‘Oooh – Gonzo is a bit of a low blow.’

‘Did Sam just call Bryce Gonzo?’ another shocked fan wrote, while a third chimed in: ‘The audacity of Sam to call Bryce “Gonzo”.’

‘Enough with the nose comments, you wannabe,’ another chimed in, while one added: ‘Come on Sam diversify, you can only use the nose joke so many times cause then it gets old.’

Another fan appeared to think Sam was in the right, writing: ‘Sam has simply owned Bryce here #MAFSAustralia.’

The row came after Sam questioned Bryce, 31, about his relationship with Melissa and claimed that he had seen her crying on the balcony several times.

Bryce then decided to move closer to Sam, before calling him a ‘compulsive liar’.

Sam claimed he didn’t remember exactly when he saw Melissa crying, before he hit back: ‘You’ve got the personality for doormat and that’s an insult to doormats.’

Sam continued to throw insults at the former radio presenter, before Bryce got up and decided to end the argument by throwing water at him, before storming off.
