Kerry Washington celebrates St. Patrick’s Day and March Madness early as she announces social media hiatus: ‘This is what I would have posted!’

Just because Kerry Washington is taking a social media hiatus doesn’t mean she will be missing out on any of the upcoming action.

The actress, 44, took to her Instagram account on Wednesday to announce her weeks-long break with a video of what she would have posted throughout the month of March.

‘Hey everybody, so I’m going to take a little bit of a social media hiatus. I’m going to be gone for a few weeks, but there’s so many exciting things that are going to happen. So this is what I would have posted,’ she told her followers.

March Madness indeed! Kerry Washington celebrated upcoming events early as she announced her social media hiatus on Wednesday

First up was March Madness, which saw Kerry appear on screen tossing a basketball from hand to hand.

‘Happy March Madness! Can you believe that game last night?’ she asked.

Next, she marked National Popcorn Lovers Day, aka Saint Olivia Pope Day.

‘Today is National Popcorn Lovers Day,’ Kerry said with a bowl of the snack in hand and a glass of wine in the other. ‘Also known as Saint Olivia Pope Day. Cheers!’

‘How excited was the gardener about Spring?’ Earl asked his daughter. ‘So excited he wet his plants!’

Despite the pandemic, Kerry has remained busy with her acting career, even recently nabbing another movie role.
