The Celebrity Circle viewers are left FURIOUS at YouTuber Saffron Barker for asking ‘who are they?’ about national treasure Denise Van Outen and Blue star Duncan James
The Celebrity Circle debuted on Channel 4 on Tuesday night, as a series of famous faces set up camp in eight apartments in order to catfish one another.
Among them were national treasure Denise Van Outen and Blue pop hunk Duncan James.
Also taking part was Saffron Barker – initially a YouTube vlogger who took part on Strictly Come Dancing 2019.

But Saffron, 20, made a bad first impression among viewers of the show, when she admitted she had no idea who Denise and Duncan were.
‘HOW does Saffron not know Denise or Duncan?!’ one person despaired.
A second penned: ‘How does #saffron in @C4TheCircle not know the icon @denise_vanouten?’
‘Saffron has seriously never heard of Duncan James or Denise Van Outen? Get in the bin!!!’ a third raged.

‘Saffron doesn’t know who national treasure Denise Van Outen is!? Not that I know who Saffron is?’ another penned.
‘Feeling personally offended that this Saffron doesn’t know who Duncan from Blue is or Denise Van Outen?! WHAT?! WHO ARE YOU????’ another wrote, as another added: ‘Saffron not knowing who Duncan and Denise are? Is this a JOKE?!’
Another added: ‘The absolute irony of Saffron having a Hello World poster on her wall!’
‘Where the hell has Saffron been? Denise is a legend!’ came another post, followed by someone else typing: ‘Saffron doesn’t know who Duncan is?! She needs to ‘All Rise’ and walk on outta there..!’
There was fury later in show when Saffron was declared one of the top two contestants, as voted by the other celebrities, giving her ‘influencer’ status.
Along with Lady Leshurr – masquerading as comedian Big Narstie – they will have the power to eliminate one of the others.
‘Not saffron being an influencer!’ someone raged.
‘Sffron an influencer? First time for everything, I guess…’ another quipped.
‘Saffron’s first? Wow!’ someone else remarked.
