The story centers on three estranged women – three of the four played by Brandy, Eve and Naughton – who were part of a famous hip-hop group called Nasty Bitches in  the 1990s.

They reunite to try and recapture the fame and swagger that made them hip-hop icons many years earlier.

Brandy will portray a character named Naomi, whose stage name was ‘Xplicit Lyrics,’ known as the ‘highly-skilled musical engine’ of the group.

Naomi is described as a, ‘true artist with boundless musical talent,’ who was convinced she’d become a mainstream success after the group broke up.

However, Naomi hasn’t made it, struggling to survive by playing in dive bars for fans who only want to see her old persona on stage.

Her reunion with the group also reunites her with the only man she ever loved – and her former bandmate who stole him from her – though her true focus is building a relationship with her daughter, which is not succeeding either.
